To Achieve Viking Excellence, the Saint Bernard graduate will be a

Christian Disciple who models Christ in their daily life; develops an understanding of and appreciation for the Catholic Church and her traditions; exhibits a sense of Catholic social responsibility through acts of service.

Critical Thinker who uses higher level thinking processes to analyze, problem-solve and draw conclusions based on supportive evidence; demonstrates interdisciplinary comprehension and application; shows mastery of research skills by effectively using a variety of appropriate resources including technology to seek understanding through inquiry.

Effective Communicator who incorporates and presents ideas appropriately, thoughtfully and creatively; is articulate both orally and in writing; reads and listens with respect and comprehension.

Self-Directed Learner who sets academic, lifestyle, career and personal goals for the future; assumes responsibility and respect for the learning process and strives to exceed expectations; masters the academic and life skills necessary to become a productive member of society.
